(TA 434 can't post on the page) Above the Clouds
This picture was taken at the Dodger's Stadium. Everything about this photo has a deeper meaning to me. When I see this I feel bittersweet. Dodger's was my brother's favorite baseball team, he was from LA matter fact lived close to the stadium, and the way the clouds are in this photo, it reminds me how he's above the clouds. The source of light would definitely be sun light, bright sun light to be exact. Or in other words, the brightness of the sun we see around 12-1pm. If I were to light this, i'd use a light blue, not so saturated but a blue closest to the natural light from the sun. Probably have my intensity at 80-85%. As for brushstroke, I think a fresnel would be nice for a nice even wash, but I also think low side lights would probably work out for this lighting, though i'm not sure. I'd probably have to play with it more once I'm able to use the space. I think I'd also lay a soft focus to the left side of the stage to represent the focus on the hat.
