This picture above was taken a few days ago in Claremont CA. I don't know much about lighting and all it entails, but I have always loved taking pictures that looked "cool". When we were given this assignment I couldn't really find anything that was worth posting, until I was at work and saw this sky. This is a complete natural photo taken during a sunset. Nowadays everything is filtered, altered and distorted to look different from the actual photo. I love the natural aspect of this picture and all the different hues and shades that was given from something as simple as the sun setting. I wish I could watch the sunset everyday, but we all get too busy in life to enjoy something so simple and natural as the sunset. Lighting is all around us in the most natural settings, we just have to take the time to pay attention to it and enjoy it.
Time is one of the most valuable things we have! and what better way to spend a few moments of reflection than catching such a brilliant display of natural movement and light motion...so pretty! Those energetic warm colors contrasting agains the calming cool colors of night...love it!
