Shrouded Lighting

Everyday, whenever we look at the sky we would always see the sun shining down on the earth. However, there are times when during the day the sun becomes shrouded by dark clouds. Like a lamp that is covered by a dark blanket or cloth. The light becomes trapped behind the presence of a dark cloud. This photo was taken outside the Theatre Department at California State University of Los Angeles. The sun has always been the most prominent source of light in my life. To me, this symbolizes a struggle as the sun tries to shine it's light despite the clouds blocking the way.

  1. love the commentary on the struggle of the sun source through such thick cloud cover! I love that it feels like the sky is opening up and pouring down sunlight....nice!
