Sometimes I overthink things, and most of the time the smallest of things amaze me. I was eating inside of my car while waiting for class start, and suddenly the sun starts to come out. It was very gloomy at first, so I was surprised when the sun came out. The sun was bothering me, so I put on my shades. Before this assignment was assigned, I never gave much thought into how much shades can protect you from the sun's powerful ray's.
I proceeded into taking off my glasses and putting them back on repeatedly, because I was amazed at the difference they made. Suddenly, I was inspired into taking a picture. I was kind of aiming for somewhat of a perspective picture and I believe it was accomplished. With this piece, I wanted to show what I see through my shades and how they change my view.
Sometimes I have to take them off because they hurt the bridge of my nose, and every single time I "woah" due to the brightness of the sun. It is just amazing to me that with this particular accessory I can block out a lot of the rays.
I love this image! Really love how it's something most of us do all the time and never really think twice about! I also love how some people get so addicted to their sunglasses, and others, (like myself) can't ever get used to them. Nice!
